Material and production technology of the mats
EVA material is an abbreviation for ethylene-vinyl acetate, a polymer often referred to as "modern rubber." However, it is significantly lighter, odorless, and comes with additional benefits:
- Hypoallergenic: The material is completely safe for both children and adults.
- Temperature resistance: EVA withstands both extreme cold and scorching heat.
- Elasticity and resilience: This material provides excellent cushioning, being very flexible and springy.
- Thermal insulation: Thanks to its porous structure, it contains micro air particles that help retain heat.
- Dielectric properties: The material does not conduct electricity.
Material
- We use colorful smooth 8mm EVA sheets that are laminated (firmly bonded) and then mill the top layer. This allows us to create a pattern on the mat that also forms grooves to collect water and dirt.
- The milling layout is created based on digital templates. We have fasteners for specific car models, with exact placement marked in the templates. In other cases, we use high-quality Velcro that holds just as securely as traditional fasteners.
